Stage Left Diner celebrated its Grand Opening at the end of September 2016. We’re a destination diner located next door to The Fabulous Fox.
“Though the previous diner did fine, we recognized huge potential to deliver a higher quality product and experience. After all, we’re located at one of the best intersections in the entire city and are next door to one of our nation’s most spectacular venues,” said Brad Beracha. “Having neighbors such as The St. Louis Symphony, Grand Center, The Sheldon, Big Brothers Big Sisters, KDHX, and SLU—we aim to be a staple amongst the Midtown community for both locals and visitors alike. Whether joining us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, or a late-night dessert after a memorable performance, the Stage Left cast and crew are excited and ready to serve St. Louis!”
Aside from re-branding the diner and revisiting their role within the community, quality is key and it’s something that Chef Cooper and his crew are committed to. “We’re getting away from ‘the greasy spoon’ but not abandoning the fare all together,” said Cooper. “The new menu includes plenty of American classics that everyone knows and loves, as well as fresh new items such as our kale and apple salad, grilled portabella sandwich, or prime rib with au jus, just to name a few.” In addition to the new breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, the drink and dessert menus have gotten sweeter, too. Hank’s cheesecake, fresh pieces of pie, and a variety of milkshakes can certainly top off anyone’s day or night.
As is with any production, it’s a process. Many changes have been made with even more to come. Stage Left Diner will offer everything that people expect from a diner: warm welcomes, quick service, low price points, all in a comfortable atmosphere.
